Le Undici Ombre, translated to The Eleven Shadows, is a field guide series that examines the presence of the 11 species of the Myotis Bats all over Italy. The 3 field guides feature 3 distinct grid structures: the first book a manuscript single-column grid, the second a 7x7 grid, and finally, a deconstructed grid.

Each of the books, alongside different grids, focuses on different aspects of the 11 Bats. The first book looks at the history of the bats and the folklore associated with each species. The second looks at the height, weight, location, diet, and a short bio of bat. Finally, the third book looks at myths and the facts associated with the bats.
